My name is Emma and I’m the owner of Encounter at Jacob’s Well: a small Catholic shop that features handmade totes and devotional pouches sewn by me in Maine to help you share the faith wherever you go.

Encounter at Jacob's Well started with the desire for evangelization. I want everyone to have a life changing encounter with Jesus. In some ways, we are all like the Samaritan woman at Jacob’s well in need of God’s love, mercy, hope and newness of life in Him.

Evangelization means a lot to me. In my own spiritual journey so many people helped witness the truth, peace and freedom found only in the Catholic faith and healing through the Sacraments. Many people even gifted me things over the years that really made a difference and helped plant seeds in my heart. Sacramentals like brown scapulars, rosaries, chaplets, devotional bags and shirts helped give me courage, lift me up, make me feel loved by the people sharing these things with me and helped point me to Jesus, Who my heart was made for.

It’s my greatest dream to help others do this for the people they care for too.

To me, ‘Encounter at Jacob’s Well’ is much more than a shop, it’s an opportunity to help point souls to Jesus Who loves you. It’s an honor to be able to use the talents that God has given me to help you in your own faith journeys and to help you point others to Him too.💗

So, for those who are new here, welcome! Welcome to this journey as I continue to strive to serve God and grow in my own faith and I’m glad that we can walk together!
